| After dating for many years, Bob & I married in 1981. We both grew up |
|
having purebred and mixed breed dogs. In 1991 we got our first Rottweilers. |
| At that time, we were not educated about proper nutrition, the dangers of |
| over vaccinating, and we had no idea of the importance of a "code of ethics |
| breeder" or a what a dog show was about. Rose & Sassy were "backyard" bred, |
| but both had wonderful temperaments & passed their health testing! |
|
In 1995, after getting our first "show dog", Brianna, we were feeding a |
| "premium" kibble but still over vaccinating due to our lack of knowledge |
| and not being proactive in their veterinary care. |
|
By the time Brianna was 6 months old, she had developed some health |
| "issues" mainly vaginitis, which over time, became chronic. Being very |
| unhappy with Brianna's state of ill-health, I joined several online |
| discussion groups; "Just Say NO To Vaccines", and another about |
| feeding a raw diet. It was during this time I began feeding raw food, starting |
| with raw soup & rib bones to clean their teeth. The results were amazing. I |
| also began getting serious about educating myself and I began to |
| question the choices I had made regarding the feeding and vaccinating |
| of our pets. |

All of our dogs were on a totally raw diet by 1997. We watched them go |
| through detox and blossom into the picture of health. After several months, |
| all of Brianna's "issues" cleared without the use of drugs. She even got off |
|
of her thyroid medication. We knew we would never feed our pets any other way. |
|
This wonderful change brought another challenge. What treats could we |
| give our dogs? Back then, all of the available treats were in biscuit form |
| containing grains & fillers. Unable to find any all meat treats to buy, I |
| decided to dehydrate the human grade, all natural chicken gizzards we |
| were already feeding the dogs. They were a HIT! We have moved forward |
|
and now also make our treats out of free range chicken gizzards. |
|

| and those of our family and friends. Our company was born after many friends |
| suggested it would be a great idea to offer our healthy treats to the public. |
|
We presently live in So. CA, in what used to be a small town. It is growing |
| very quickly, and when we sell this home, we will be moving to our 20 acres in |
| Washington. We really enjoy rural living, the peacefulness of sharing |
| our days with the wildlife, and the quaintness of living in a small town. |
|
We are Code Of Ethics Rottweiler breeders. You can see our wonderful |

| presently under re-construction but it is available. It contains a lot of good |
| information, including a long list of wonderful books, and links to many |
| informational and educating sites. We presently have no bitches to breed. Garron |
| is working on his AKC Championship & only needs his two 3pt. majors to finish. |
| Garron passed all of his health testing with flying colors, but has not "yet" |
|
been approached by any naturally reared
"ladies"!

| We are active in the American Kennel Club conformation ring, and are |
| members in good standing with our National Breed Club, ARC, (The |
| American Rottweiler Club ). We continue to educate the public about the |
| importance of everyone being a responsible pet owner, and what the |
| correct human behavior should be around dogs in public and at home. |
|
We practice all forms of alternative health care first, and implement |
| veterinary medicine as a last resort. We are listed online as natural rearing |
| breeders at Natural Rearing.com and BARF World. We no longer give our |
| pets the usual recommended shots. Please follow your state's Rabies law. |
| We also feel that it is imperative that any non-vaccinated dog or cat be fed |
| a raw diet. Through our years of research it is our opinion that the immune |
| system cannot function properly when it is bogged down digesting kibble. |
|
We encourage all pet owners to do the research and get educated. Ask a lot |
| of questions so you can make better decisions in the care of your beloved pets. |
|

Knowledge is POWER. We encourage you to EMPOWER yourself so you can be PRO-active |
| in your pets care. Please be your pet's voice. BEFORE your pet gets ill, find a vet you |
| are comfortable with, can ask questions of, and talk to. Ask about the side effects of any |
|
medication before you give it to your pet. Your pets will thank you!! |
